How to send us an announcement, and what happens to it.
What to send
Openings, closures, accreditation, appointments, partnerships, results, regulatory developments and research from organisations operating in medical travel.
What to include
- The issuing organisation and a named contact who can answer questions.
- The date of the announcement.
- Supporting documents or data.
- Images, with rights cleared for publication.
What happens next
There are two possible routes, and we decide which applies:
- Publication as a labelled press release, under our press release policy. This is the issuer’s words, carries no Medical Tourism Watch byline, and is not verification by us.
- Independent reporting, if the announcement is genuinely newsworthy. We report it ourselves, verify it under our fact-checking policy, and may seek comment from others.
Submitting an announcement guarantees neither. It is not a purchase, and no commercial relationship with us improves its chances.
How to send it
Use the contact page and choose “Press release or announcement”, or email [email protected].
Confidential information
If you are sharing something that is not a public announcement, do not use this route. See the news tip guidance on our contact page and our investigations policy.
To pitch a story or interview rather than an announcement, see request coverage.
