We publish analysis and opinion from people with direct expertise in medical travel. This page sets out what we accept and what we require.
Who we publish
People with genuine, demonstrable expertise — clinicians, hospital and international patient executives, regulators, researchers, insurers, investors and operators. We require full name, real photograph, biography, organisation and professional profile. We do not publish under pseudonyms or on behalf of unnamed organisations.
What we accept
Analysis of 1,200–2,500 words, and opinion, both clearly labelled and argued from evidence, meeting our fact-checking standards.
What we do not accept
- Promotional content for the author’s employer, clients or investments.
- Pieces recommending specific providers to patients.
- Clinical claims without citation.
- Content produced by an agency on a client’s behalf.
- Anything previously published elsewhere.
Disclosure
Every contributor must disclose commercial interests relevant to the subject, which are published with the piece. Failure to disclose ends the relationship.
Editing and rights
We edit for accuracy, clarity and length, and share the edited version before publication. Headlines are ours. Contributors retain copyright and grant us a licence to publish; we ask for a short exclusivity window. Reuse of published work is governed by our republishing policy.
